Patrick L. Scott brings decades of real-world experience to his writing. Born and raised in Yuba City, California, he learned resilience at an early age after his father left the family when Patrick was just ten years old. That resilience shaped his success as a collegiate athlete and later as a respected attorney at law, practicing for over thirty years.
 

Scott’s firsthand understanding of conflict, risk, and justice infuses his storytelling with authenticity and grit. His previous novel, Farm Tough, captured the adventurous spirit of growing up near California’s Feather River, an experience that continues to influence his creative voice.
